Hi Everyone! My name is Leah Cook. I am from Roswell, Georgia, I moved to Chattanooga in August of 2006 to pursue my education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I will be graduating in May of 2012 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a certification in children with Special Needs.
My cheerleading career began in middle school where I cheered for our junior varsity and varsity basketball teams from 6th-8th grade. I began competing my 8th grade year with my schools competitive varsity team. In high school, I joined an all-girl senior 3 all-star team at SCE, Star Cheer Elite, where I competed for 2 seasons and contributed to several national championships. At the end of my junior year, I joined WOC, World of Cheer, in Woodstock, GA. At WOC, I was a member of Senior 3 Coed All-star team. We went undefeated all season and also won several national championships. After my senior year, I moved to Chattanooga to begin college.
I started working at RAH! Spirit in August of 2010. I now coach Junior 1 (Smoke) and Special Needs (Sunshine) teams and I could not be happier. I love being a part of the RAH! Spirit family. I feel we work together to create and produce the best that RAH! Spirit has to offer. It is also the parents and most of all, the kids that make me so happy at RAH! I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to surround myself with in a job that I love doing.
