Chelsea Mitchell
Hello : ) I’m Chelsea Mitchell! I have been a Chattanooga resident for 3 years while completing my Early Childhood Degree with an endorsement in Special Education and English Language Learners. Prior to moving to Tennessee I lived in Kennesaw, Georgia. I started gymnastics at the age of two and continued to go on to the Junior Olympics before retiring in 6th grade. I somehow was convinced to try out for an all-star cheerleading team called United Stingrays, later being called Stingray All-Stars. I continued to cheer there from 6th grade through 12th . In 2005 I went on to win the World Title with my small level 5 team. After graduation I attended Hawaii Pacific University (HPU) on the island of Oahu with a full scholarship. I cheered for two years on HPU small coed team and won college nationals both years. Upon returning to Atlanta I cheered on Stingrays Open team and won my second World Title in 2008, and in 2009 won another National Title with ATL All-Stars. I have coached high School and college camps all over the country and worked a camp in Chattanooga for Circ De Solei. Cheerleading has always played a huge role in my life and I love sharing the knowledge I have with the kids that come to the gym. I coached a large junior level 2 team at Stingray All-Stars, Mini 1 and Senior 3 at United Blue Devils, and Mini 1, Mini 2, and Youth 2 at RAH! Spirit over the past two years. Working at RAH has been a blessing and I have been able to meet some incredible athletes and wonderful parents. We are a family here at the gym and we welcome anyone to come join and grow with our program.
