Chase Smith
Hey guys! My name is Chase Smith. I’m 21 years old. I was born and raised in Soddy Daisy, TN. I attended Soddy Daisy High School and then went on to graduate from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Soon, I will be attending the Nashville School of Law where I plan to get my Juris Doctorate degree and practice as a real estate and property attorney.
I have been involved with cheerleading since the 7th grade. This is when I began cheering with United Blue Devils. Since that time, I have been on levels 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 teams. Collectively, my teams have won more than 20 national championships. There is nothing I like better than all-star cheerleading. In addition to cheering competitively, I also cheered for UTC, where we participated in many community service projects and traveled nationally to support the MOCS!
When I was 15, Megan Giesel approached me about working at United. I of course accepted the offer and worked there for 5 years. During my time there, I coached 4 competition squads and worked with numerous school squads from the area. I also taught many cheer, stunt, and tumble classes. However, school was becoming more and more challenging, so I left to focus on my academic career for a while. When I heard about RAH! opening, I was ecstatic! I had missed all-stars so much. Katie Smith asked me to come on board as an all-star coach, and the rest is history.
I love my RAH! family so much. I have made so many friends I would not have met any other way. Everyone has such a positive attitude. I would not trade my experiences with the athletes, parents, or staff for anything on earth.
