Event: Master Class Workshop & Reality TV Production

Where: Chattanooga, Tennessee

SUMMARY 

Master Class- Acclaimed dance instructors who are considered to be the crème dele crème of the dance industry in one or more areas. They are certified and or qualified to instruct master classes due to their advanced training, experience, and accomplishments.

The workshops will feature one or more themes depending on the goals of the organizers. The instructors will design and deliver a curriculum that focuses on diverse styles, techniques, and current trends.

Students will receive valuable information and advice on how to advance in dance as a career.

We build positive attitudes thru healthy motivation and by providing hands on support to our students.

The theme for 2012 is Hip-Hop.

The tour will feature 4 segments of Hip- Hop training that will cover all hip-hop dance styles including; poppin, lockin, beat boy, breakdance, nu stylz, crumpin, wackin, etc. The instructors will also teach the students a popular choreographed routine of a chart topping recording artist.

The curriculum is designed to progress over four segments to be delivered once each quarter of 2012.

Ages: 5 & up. Children’s classes will be designed to fit their skill levels and will feature age appropriate material. All students will be categorized by age and skill level.

“Roro” Tabor is our featured instructor who will bring with him other esteemed instructors to deliver the curriculum. The line-up will change per city for each quarterly workshop.  This will provide the students a fresh training approach for each master class workshop.

Competition:  Five cities have been selected to be featured in a reality show production that will showcase dance teams from each of the cities as they compete to win the ultimate prize. Seven dancers from each city/workshop will be selected to be a member of the dance team that represents their perspective city. The winning teams will travel to Atlanta to complete the competition process as they then compete against each other. Chattanooga has been selected as one of the tour cities that will be a part of this production. Chattanooga will be the first city on the tour. The competition part of the workshop will take place immediately after the end of the workshop classes on Saturday.

Spirit is proud to introduce the first season of a Satellite Half year non-traveling All Star Cheerleading Team!!!

These All Star teams will only compete in a local few competitions around the Chattanooga area.

All ages and skill levels welcome!!

This Satellite program is designed to give kids who participate in other fall sports a chance to still be apart of our All Star Cheerleading Program.

Tryouts will be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 1:00-3:00pm.

Please call the office if you are interested!

Gym Fee: $40 per month (December 2011-April 2012)
**If you are enrolled in a class there is no gym fee!!!

  • Bow: $20
  • Uniform: $70
  • Team T-Shirt: $15
  • Choreography/Music $75

Private birthday parties are available at RAH! Spirit.

You can choose between a 2-hour party or a sleep over party.   Parties can be booked for Friday evening and anytime on Saturday.  We will furnish the appropriate number of staff members to assist with the party based on the number of attendees.
Party rates are as follows:  
$125 Per hour (2 hour minimum)
Overnight party  $ 400
Cleaning Fee  $ 30
